The latest data on the CANSO Safety Dashboard – powered by Aireon, has just been published, covering the period of April to June 2025.
Global trends indicate a continued increase of risk of runway overrun in North America and Europe. CANSO will continue to monitor this data and seeks trends in which it could be more effective for its members safety programmes. This data indicates with an aircraft first slowed below 50KTS within 800 feet from the end of the runway.
