skyguide extends support contract with Micro Nav into 2024.
Air Navigation Service Provider for Switzerland, skyguide, has extended its support contract with Micro Nav until the end of 2024 for the maintenance of their ATC simulation platform.
Skyguide has been a customer since 1991 and continues to operate Micro Navâs BEST â Beginning to End for Simulation and Training â ATC simulator for tower, approach and en-route training in both Zurich and Geneva.
This support contract includes software maintenance, online and telephone help desk, remote access support, site visits and obsolescence management, and the companies have committed to continue their business relationship into the future.
âWe are delighted that skyguide continues to realise the value of their BEST simulation asset and our support offering. Skyguide has the assurance that they have access to a range of our simulator experts to assist with any queries or requirements.â said Shane Hannam Head of Sales and Marketing at Micro Nav.
Micro Nav and skyguide have a long history. A contract in 1991 from swisscontrol, later to become skyguide, led to Micro Navâs move into tower simulation with a 2D tower simulator, pioneering 2D displays for tower training. This successful project led to the development of a 3D tower simulator for skyguide in 2003 and the companies have committed to continue their business relationship into the future.
