The Operations Programme provides leadership on ATM operational issues and facilitates the promotion and exchange of industry best practice in operations and technical areas. It provides operational leadership in the implementation of ATM improvements and identifies future technologies and procedures that will help transform global ATM performance.

One of CANSO’s principal roles is to act as a facilitator for ATM professionals around the world to network with each other and share information, as well as work on CANSO policy and guidance material. myCANSO is a custom-designed extranet allowing CANSO Workgroup members anywhere in the world to log on and securely view and edit documents, contribute to upcoming meetings, or discuss ATM issues.
