Helios to be known as Egis
Aviation consultancy Helios will take the name of its parent company Egis, marking the next step in a journey that began eight years ago, when the international construction, engineering and mobility group acquired the UK headquartered consultancy.
In a joint statement the companies said: “Together we have worked hard to ensure clients benefit from our combined expertise and broader service offering covering consultancy, engineering and airport operation and maintenance. Operating as one brand will mean we can present our end-to-end aviation offering more coherently, delivering efficiencies, synergies and opportunities to our clients. In terms of our day-to-day operations, it is very much ‘business as usual’. Our teams and locations remain the same. Our passion for aviation remains the same, as do our core philosophy and values: an ongoing commitment to our people, and to building close working relationships with clients to deliver high-quality services.”
Helios CEO, Claire Davies adds: “We’re proud of what we achieved as Helios and are immensely grateful to our clients and supporters over the years. We’re excited to continue this as Egis, to embrace this next chapter in our development and focus on helping the aviation industry recover.”
Cédric Barbier, Executive Director – Aviation, at Egis comments: “With digitalisation, sustainability and ‘quality of life’ as key drivers in our commitment to innovation and service development, the aim is to support clients with adapting to today’s societal trends. Communicating as one brand allows us to coherently showcase our aviation services and deliver maximum value for our clients.”
