CANSO and ICAI sign Memorandum of Cooperation to drive innovation in Air Traffic Management

Singapore, 16 July 2025 – CANSO and the International Centre for Aviation Innovation (ICAI) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) to strengthen collaboration on innovative solutions in air traffic management (ATM).

The agreement was signed on 16 July by Simon Hocquard, President and CEO of CANSO, and Patrick Ky, CEO of ICAI, during a visit by Simon Hocquard to the ICAI headquarters in Singapore.
This MOC establishes ICAI and CANSO as partners in innovation. Together, the two organisations will pursue collaborative activities focused on innovative solutions to ATM challenges, sharing of information, and supporting each another to promote best practices at regional and global forums.
During his visit, Simon Hocquard received an in-depth briefing on ICAI’s ongoing developmental work and areas of research aimed at enhancing the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of global aviation.
