CANSO launches Safety Month 2026
Registration is now open for CANSO Safety Month 2026, a month-long series of online discussions, presentations and webinars bringing together aviation safety experts from around the world.
Running from 3-29 September, the programme has been developed following the postponement of the CANSO Global Safety Conference 2026 and ensures the global aviation community continues to have a dedicated forum to share knowledge, discuss emerging challenges and exchange best practice. The programme is being delivered in partnership with the conference’s planned hosts, Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS).
Taking place every Tuesday and Thursday throughout September, Safety Month will feature eight sessions exploring some of the most pressing issues facing aviation safety today. Topics include managing safety during periods of change, human performance, safety culture, runway incursions, cyber safety, fatigue risk management and evolving approaches to risk management in response to GNSS degradation.
The programme combines live and pre-recorded sessions with interactive discussion, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts, ask questions and share operational experience.
