Thursday 3 September: Managing Safety During Periods of Change
This executive panel brought together global aviation leaders to discuss how they have managed, or are preparing to manage, significant organisational and operational change while ensuring safety remains the highest priority. The discussion focussed on practical leadership lessons, organisational resilience, safety culture, and strategies for anticipating and mitigating emerging risks during periods of transformation.
Tuesday 8 September: Why Human Performance Management Matters
This session looked at the on-going and planned work of the Human Performance Work Group, described the key human performance challenges and issues today, looked at how these might change in the future, what to do, and how it links to the Complete Air Traffic System Concept of Operations.

Thursday 10 September: From Measurement to Momentum. What Safety Culture Benchmarking is Teaching us About ANSPs
This session focussed on findings from the first year of the safety culture survey. We considered the value of a strong safety culture on other areas of operational performance, asked what ANSPs can learn from each other, identified patterns and insights from the benchmarked data, and explained how ANSPs can get involved in the programme.

Tuesday 15 September: Runway Incursions – Managing the Risk
Runway incursions remain one of the most persistent and high‑risk threats to safe airport operations worldwide. In this session, experts looked at how the Global Action Plan for the Prevention of Runway Incursions (GAPPRI) is being put into practice, drawing on real-world examples from Air Navigation Service Providers.
Thursday 17 September: From Observer to Advocate: The Human Journey Behind the Standard of Excellence in Safety Management Systems
This session brought experts from EUROCONTROL and CANSO together to help organisations understand why the Standard of Excellence (SoE) in Safety management Systems (SMS) is a journey and not a destination. We asked does your organisation need a business case for safety improvements, and what do best practices really mean? This session also touched on recent enhancements such as the onboarding process and Pathway to Participation.
Tuesday 22 September: Cyber Safety Integration into Safety Management Systems via Governance
Establishing a Cyber Safety programme that assesses risks based on International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) categories of security control is the first step in determining potential operational impacts. Integrating these risks into an ANSP’s Safety Management System (SMS) is key to understanding how these risks should be prioritised in assessing overall safety. Without the context of operational architectures and implementations, standalone cyber safety assessments cannot be quantified or qualified. Cyber Safety governance should be the driver for its integration into SMS.
Thursday 24 September: From Operational Hazard to Safety Intelligence: Evolving ANSP Risk Management in a World of Global Navigation Satellite System Degradation.
As intentional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) jamming and spoofing surge globally, Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) face escalating operational risks, ranging from uncoordinated emergency climbs to communication bottlenecks. This presentation bridges Safety Management Systems (SMS) with modern surveillance technology. It examined how ANSPs can translate raw occurrence data into actionable safety intelligence and use independent space-based position validation to safeguard controlled airspace.

Tuesday 29 September: CANSO Fatigue Risk Management Task Force: Roadmap, Industry Perspectives and Panel Discussion
Fatigue continues to present a significant challenge to safe and resilient air navigation services. This session introduced the CANSO Fatigue Risk Management Task Force and its roadmap, followed by an expert panel discussion exploring practical approaches, emerging challenges, and collaborative opportunities for advancing fatigue risk management across the global ANSP community.
