Pre-recorded webinar: Cyber Safety Integration into Safety Management Systems via Governance
Establishing a Cyber Safety programme that assesses risks based on International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) categories of security control is the first step in determining potential operational impacts. Integrating these risks into an ANSP’s Safety Management System (SMS) is key to understanding how these risks should be prioritised in assessing overall safety. Without the context of operational architectures and implementations, standalone cyber safety assessments cannot be quantified or qualified. Cyber Safety governance should be the driver for its integration into SMS.
