ENAIRE managed over 240,000 flights in July, 3.5 per cent more than in 2024, a record year
ENAIRE, Spain’s air navigation service provider, managed over 240,000 flights (244,356) in July of 2025, 3.5 per cent more than in the same month in 2024, a record year.

The Barcelona Control Centre managed the most flights: 126,869 in the month
In July, there were 146,549 international flights, 4.5 per cent more than in the same month in the previous year. Overflights (54,114), which do not land at or depart from a Spanish airport, went up by 4.5 per cent, and domestic flights (43,693) fell by 0.8 per cent.
This growth in air traffic in Spain in July compared to 2024 exceeded the European average, which was 2.9 per cent, by 0.6 percentage points. Compared to 2019 (before the COVID pandemic), flights managed by ENAIRE exceed the European average by 10.4 points (10.7 per cent increase in Spain and 0.3 per cent in Europe).
