EuroUSC Italia continues collaboration with the European Defence Agency (EDA) in the implementation and harmonisation of risk assessment methodologies for non-certified military UAS operations in Europe. After integration in Unifly, the company reinforces its role as a trusted partner in the military drone sector, supporting the European defence safety.
Military operations involving non-certified drones, similar to those in the ‘Specific’ category under EU civilian drone rules, are gaining significance for Europe’s safety and security needs. These missions require detailed risk assessments and must meet special military standards. However, with EDA member states using different national methods and no unified European military approach, costs rise for dual-use markets and cross-border operations become more complex.
