Thales chosen as supplier for Lilium’s revolutionary eVTOL jet programme

- Lilium is a leading electric aircraft manufacturer, aiming to revolutionise Regional Air Mobility (RAM) and drastically reduce carbon emissions with the Lilium Jet, targeted for entry into service in 2026.

This partnership between Thales and Lilium is a pivotal moment in the aviation industry, merging cutting-edge technology with decades of expertise. The planned shipset for Lilium’s eVTOL fleet will include an optimal blend of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and bespoke antennas. These antennas include VHF Com GPS, Wi-Fi/LTE, ELT, GNSS, DME, VOR, LOC, Glideslope, UAT, and Transponder, ensuring seamless communication and navigation capabilities for Lilium’s innovative aircraft.
