Press Release: DSNA Awarded Level 3 in CANSO’s GreenATM Environmental Accreditation

Brussels – 18 February 2026 – DSNA, the French Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP), was today awarded Level 3 in CANSO’s GreenATM environmental accreditation programme.

Launched in 2022, the CANSO GreenATM initiative offers a framework to assess ANSPs’ progress in environmental sustainability and operational efficiency. The accreditation has five levels, each representing increasingly ambitious standards for sustainability and environmental responsibility across ANSP facilities and airspace operations.

DSNA’s achievement of Level 3 included significant efforts in areas such as:

• the development and publishing of an environmental policy and plan;
• increasing opportunities for continuous descent and continuous climb operations at airports to reduce fuel burn in the land and take off cycle; and
• engaging staff in efforts to strengthen their individual role in the organisation’s environmental efforts.
