26/11/2024

Indra has been awarded a contract with Vietnam’s Air Navigation Service Provider, VATM (Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation), to overhaul a large part of the country’s air traffic management systems. Based at the Ho Chi Minh control centre, Indra will deploy its cutting-edge automation solution ManagAir, one of the most advanced and widely used systems in control centers and airports around the world.

Indra’s system will bring together all the air traffic management (ATM) processes occurring during a flight in a single centralised suite and will be equipped with en-route services, approach and control tower management systems. With the renewal of the systems, Vietnam will have the capacity to increase its efficiency in air traffic control and contribute to a more sustainable and efficient aviation.

Indra will employ cutting-edge technologies that allow it to apply new levels of cybersecurity with the aim of guaranteeing the maximum protection in all operations. In addition, Indra has equipped the centre with a backup system that will share all the information in real time.
