GATE Aviation Training expands with new academy in Southern Spain
GATE Aviation Training proudly announces the opening of its new academy in El Puerto de Santa MarĂa, in the province of Cádiz, Southern Spain. This new training centre represents a major step forward in the company’s mission to deliver world-class air traffic control and aviation training across Europe.
The new facility positions GATE Aviation Training at the heart of the Andalusian aerospace hub, offering state-of-the-art classrooms, advanced simulators, and digital training resources designed to meet the growing demand for highly skilled aviation professionals. With this investment, GATE reinforces its commitment to innovation, safety, and excellence in aviation training.

The academy will deliver a wide range of courses, including initial air traffic control training, radar and tower specialization, and advanced simulation-based programmes. Training activities have already begun, with clients from Oman, Ireland, and Spain, and a group of 65 controllers from Peru scheduled to receive training at the facilities throughout 2025 and 2026.
