CANSO Global Benchmarking Workshop 2019

Note: this workshop and the activities of the GBWG are open to CANSO Full Members only.

This workshop will introduce air navigation service providers (ANSPs) to the annual CANSO Global ANS Performance Report.

Come find out what is involved in participating, the type of data required and the benefits your ANSP can achieve from being actively involved in benchmarking activities. 

The CANSO Global ANS Performance Report provides a global overview of performance. It compares key financial and productivity indicators from participating ANSPs, highlighting global performance trends and identifying gaps. The report provides a basis for collective improvement, enabling ANSPs and their stakeholders to make informed decisions when pursuing increased cost-effectiveness and productivity, without impacting safety.

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to discuss the report and how it has evolved, hear directly from involved ANSPs of their experiences and the benefits of taking part in this unique exercise.

Participants in the workshop are also invited to stay March 26th if they wish to observe the meeting of the Global Benchmarking Workgroup (GBWG). GBWG holds meetings twice a year: the purpose of this meeting is to make decisions on the evolution of the CANSO Global ANS Performance Report and trial Key Performance Indicators the group is examining. An Autumn meeting will be held to discuss collected data, analyse results, and finalize the annual report.

This year, the report will mark its tenth anniversary, a significant milestone, and we would like to celebrate this by encouraging other ANSPs to come out an learn more about the process and the benefits of being involved.
