CANSO Global ATM Summit and 23rd AGM

The CANSO Global ATM Summit and 23rd Annual General Meeting supplied CANSO Members with a forum to discuss vital issues and projects, allowing CANSO Members to steer the course for the future, the event connected over 200 global leaders from across the ATM industry.

This year, the CANSO Global ATM Summit and 23rd Annual General Meeting was hosted by s kyguide, 17-19 June 2019 in stunning Geneva. The event focussed on Partnerships and successes in ATM – delivering our future skies today and offered thought-leadership from keynote speakers Alexandre de Juniac, Director General, International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Angela Gittens, Director General, ACI World (ACI), followed by a panel discussion on how IATA/airlines, ACI/airports and CANSO/ATM can advance their collaboration in cohesive partnerships that are genuinely driven from shared data, collaborative decision-making and a common sense of purpose. The CANSO Global ATM Summit highlighted significant success stories of CANSO Members, who presented a selection of initiatives providing the best possible view of progress across the broad spectrum of ATM. The first CANSO Award of Excellence in ATM was awarded to Aireon, NATS and NAV CANADA for their joint project to deploy Space-based ADS-B in the North Atlantic.
