Enrique Maurer named Engineer of the Year 2025 by the Spanish Association of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE)
ENAIRE’s CEO, Enrique Maurer, has been named “Engineer of the Year 2025” by the Spanish Association of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE), according to a statement released today by the aeronautical sector’s leading institution. This professional recognition highlights Maurer’s career at the national air navigation service provider, as well as his contribution to the development of the aviation sector in our country and internationally.
With this award, the COIAE aims to highlight the more than three-decade long dedication, expertise, and work that Enrique Maurer has contributed to the Spanish aerospace sector, beginning with his training as an aeronautical
engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialising in air navigation and transport.
