14/09/2026

CANSO has enhanced its GreenATM website, creating  a central hub for the growing GreenATM community and making it easier for air navigation service providers (ANSPs) to access programme guidance, resources and examples of environmental best practice.

The enhanced  website has been designed to better support both existing GreenATM participants and organisations considering joining the programme, while providing greater visibility of the progress being made across the GreenATM community

Improvements include:

  • Recognition of accredited GreenATM participants and their accreditation level, showcasing organisations and their commitment to improving environmental performance through the programme. .
  • Easier access to programme guidance and resources to help organisations understand the accreditation process and support them as they progress through the GreenATM accreditation levels. .

A suite of new and updated resources is now available, including the updated Guide to GreenATM Accreditation, Topics and Levels Objectives, Submission Examples and a Guide to Fees. Together, they provide clearer and more practical guidance for ANSPs considering accreditation, preparing a  submission or working towards their next level of accreditation.

Andrea Sack, Senior Vice President Global Operations, CANSO, said: “GreenATM provides ANSPs with an independent, industry-endorsed accreditation of their environmental efforts. Its five-level framework enables organisations to benchmark their performance, identify areas for improvement and demonstrate their progress towards more environmentally sustainable air traffic management.

“The enhanced website will continue to develop as a resource for the GreenATM community, sharing participant experiences, programme updates and opportunities for ANSPs to learn from and collaborate with one another.”

The GreenATM website will continue to grow alongside the programme. Coming soon, participant video testimonials will showcase experiences and lessons learned from across the GreenATM community.

The website will also feature regular programme updates, upcoming webinars and opportunities for GreenATM participants to connect, collaborate and learn from one another.

The next GreenATM webinar will take place on 4 November, with registration details coming soon.
