ENAV wins contracts in Mozambique, Romania and Italy

ENAV, through its subsidiary IDS AirNav, a company specialized in aeronautical information management systems, in April was awarded three contracts: in Mozambique, Romania and Italy, for a total value of 1 million euro.

In particular, IDS AirNav has been selected by Aeroportos De Mozambique, the company that manages Maputo airport in Mozambique, for the supply of an advanced system for the management of aeronautical messages and information – AMHS (Aeronautical Message Handling System) and a Dynamic AIM (Aeronautical Information Management) called CRONOS. The project is expected to be completed in 2020 and has a value of 461 thousand euro.

The second contract was signed with the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority for the setup of a platform for flight procedures design, staff training and maintenance for a total amount of 310 thousand euro.

Lastly, IDS AirNav has been selected by Alidaunia srl, one of the main Italian helicopter operators, for the design, validation and operational approval of a network “Point in Space” procedures and “Low Level Routes” connecting Alidaunia’s base in Foggia with 5 other helipads/heliports of the Apulia region. The project will last 2 years for a total value of 245 thousand euro.
