ENAIRE managed over 1.3 million flights (1,341,432) in the first seven months of the year, an increase of 8.5 per cent versus the same period in 2023, a record year. This was the January-July period with the most traffic in history, and the forecast is for 2024 to be another record year.
In the first seven months of the year, international flights (766,406) increased by 10.3 per cent, overflights (304,973), which do not land at or depart from a Spanish airport, 6.2 per cent, and domestic flights (270,053) 5.9 per cent.
