ENAIRE handled more than 190,000 flights in March, up 4.2 per cent on the record year of 2025
ENAIRE, the Spanish air navigation service provider, handled more than 190,000 flights (193,103) in March 2026, up 4.2 per cent on the same month in the record year of 2025. ENAIRE would once again like to express its appreciation to all the organisation’s professionals for their commitment to their work.
Overflights—those not departing from or arriving at a Spanish airport—totalled 46,280, up 6.5 per cent on the same month in 2025. International flights reached 108,447, up 4.8 per cent, while domestic flights totalled 38,376, up 0.1 per cent.
Air traffic growth in Spain in March 2026 was 2.6 percentage points higher than the European average of 1.6 per cent. Compared with 2019, the pre-pandemic reference year, Spain outperformed the European average by 24.3 percentage points (ENAIRE: up 23.2 per cent; Europe: down 1.1 per cent).
