Dakar ACC Manager and AFI ATFM PMT Lead

Mr. THIOUNE Moustapha is an experienced Air Traffic Controller with 22 years of service at Dakar ACC and a qualified On-the-Job Training Instructor (OJTI) in air traffic control for 12 years. He has been appointed Unit Chief of the Air Traffic Control Operations in January 2023. Since March 2026, he has begun serving as Dakar ACC Manager. He is currently nominated to coordinate the AFI ATFM Project Team which was officially launched on June 3, 2026.
Drawing on his background as a controller, instructor, unit Chief and ACC manager, he places his operational expertise and safety culture at the service of team performance.
