CANSO appoints Andrea Sack as Senior Vice President Global Operations
Montreal, Canada – Thursday, 14 May 2026 – CANSO today announced the appointment of Andrea Sack as its new Senior Vice President Global Operations, following an extensive international recruitment process.

Andrea brings more than 25 years’ experience across the aviation industry, having held roles at airports, airlines, aircraft operators and Air Navigation Service Providers. Her career in aviation spans senior roles in safety management, flight operations, environmental decision making and change management. Andrea joins CANSO from Austro Control, where she was Director of Safety, Security and Quality.

As Senior Vice President Global Operations, Andrea will be key to leading the next phase of CANSO’s development. She will lead CANSO’s Regions and all its programme activities including CANSO’s work with ICAO, driving alignment, strengthening consistency and supporting the next phase of the Association’s development and growth.
Andrea will take up her new role on I June.
