Airspace Asia Pacific planning picks up speed

29/11/2024

With just over a year to go until the doors open on Airspace Asia Pacific – the region’s biggest airspace gathering – planning for the event is picking up speed.

Exhibitors and sponsors are already signing up for Airspace Asia Pacific, including big industry names such as Aireon, Indra, Metron Aviation, Adacel, and Frequentis to name but a few. Others are showing significant interest, while Thales has already signed up as the event’s platinum sponsor.

In preparation for the event, the Airspace World team and CANSO’s Director General, Simon Hocquard, recently visited Hong Kong, China, to see the event location, Asia World Expo, and met with the venue’s leaders.

Simon was also joined by Victor Liu, Director-General of Civil Aviation at Civil Aviation Department (CAD Hong Kong) to meet the Hong Kong China’s Secretary for Transport. Simon said: “The Secretary expressed his excitement that Airspace Asia Pacific will be coming to Hong Kong China next December. I share that excitement as we will bring the expertise and experience of exhibitors and delegates to the region and build on the success of Airspace World. It’s an impressive development and I personally can’t wait.”

And planning for Airspace World 2025, in Lisbon, Portugal, on 13 to 15 May is also well advanced. The show is now bigger than the first two editions and registration will open shortly.
