Moholola has served as Acting CEO since March 2025. He joined ATNS in July 2011 as Senior Finance Manager, a position he held for six years until he was promoted to become a Chief Financial Officer in October 2017.
Before joining ATNS, he was a Director at the National Treasury, which was preceded by his roles as Chief Accountant at Johnson Diversey and Head Office Accountant for Maxiprest Tyres, respectively.
He holds an MBA from Georgetown University; a Master of Commerce in Taxation from the University of Pretoria; a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Venda.
ATNS Chairman Zola Majavu, CD (SA) said the confirmation of Moholola marked an important step in ensuring leadership stability and continuity at ATNS, and that this would support the organisation in strengthening its partnerships across the aviation sector.
“On behalf of the Board, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Moholola on his appointment. Over the past period, he has demonstrated commitment, resilience, and a clear appreciation of the challenges facing the organisation. The Board has every confidence in his ability to lead ATNS through this important phase of stabilisation and renewal,” said Majavu, adding that: “We are equally encouraged that this appointment will enable him to move decisively in stabilising his executive management team and filling key leadership positions that have been occupied in an acting capacity for some time.”
