Complete Air Traffic System Technical Committee starts work

The Complete Air Traffic System (CATS) Technical Committee has held its first meeting, a crucial step towards delivering its vision for the skies of 2045.

The forum has been established to create a roadmap of actions and goals that will help realise the Global Council’s Vision for the Skies of 2045 launched at World ATM Congress last October.

The CATS Technical Committee encompasses over 50 organisations and it aims to ensure as many stakeholders as possible have the opportunity to contribute to the roadmap.

At the inaugural meeting, the team agreed a framework for creating the vision roadmap, as well as principles for how the group will work together with the overarching goal of presenting a first version of the roadmap at this year’s World ATM Congress in June in Madrid.
