Zephania Sholobela is an Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) by Profession. Former president and now a senior member of the Guilds of Air Traffic Controllers Association of Zambia (GATCOZ). He has more than 20 years experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Air Navigation Services (ANS) operations with technical competencies in ATC Tower, Approach Radar and Area Control Centre, ATM Supervisory, On Job Training Instructor (OJTI), Aviation English Language Proficiency (ELP), Aircraft Accident Investigation, Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) and Aviation Human Factors. His extensive expertise and leadership roles have been honed through diverse roles and responsibilities including Senior Air Traffic Control Officer (SATCO) at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA), Manager Air Traffic Services (MATS) in charge of the provision of safe, efficient and expeditious Air Traffic Services throughout the Republic of Zambia before being appointed as Director Air Navigation Services in 2024.

Zephania holds a Diploma in Air Traffic Services (ATS) Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Development Studies, Masters in Sustainable Air Transport (Airports and Air Navigation Services) Management (MATSM) Degree. Zephania is currently serving as a Chairperson of CANSO Africa operations working group.
