ENAIRE handled more than 238,000 flights in June, up 4.5 per cent on the record year of 2025

ENAIRE, Spain’s national air navigation service provider, handled more than 238,000 flights (238,400) in June 2026, up 4.5 per cent on the same month in the record year of 2025. 

International flights (144,081) increased by 5.6 per cent in June compared to the same month last year; domestic flights (43,540), by 4.7 per cent; and overflights (50,779), not departing from or arriving at a Spanish airport, by 1.4 per cent.

On 14 June, ENAIRE managed a new flight record with 8,231 flights, which exceeded the 2025 record in Spain in high season: 8,103 flights on July 5 and August 9, 2025. This increase in air traffic in Spain in June 2026 compared with 2025 was 2.9 percentage points higher than the average European increase (1.6 per cent). Compared with 2019, the pre-pandemic reference year, Spain outperformed the European average by 14.6 percentage points (ENAIRE: up 16.0 per cent; Europe: up 1.4 per cent).
