Viktor JAGASITS is an active air traffic controller since 2005 at EUROCONTROL Maastricht UAC. Viktor has a BsC in engineering – in 2011 he started a systems development sidetrack career at MUAC. Since 2014, Viktor’s primary focus has been datalink. He was responsible for the operational introduction of ATS B2 ADS-C in the MUAC operations room in 2019, taking a key role in both HMI-design and ATCO training development. His present role is the Coordinator for the Systems Monitoring and Revision Team, which provides a link between the operational and the engineering departments of Maastricht UAC. Viktor has been actively participating in the EUROCAE WG78 since the group started working on the Revision B standards (2020). He is also a member of the ICAO Communications Panel’s Operational Datalink Working Group (CP-OPDLWG). Since 2023, Viktor is the ANSP-Chair of the EUROCONTROL Operational Focus Group, which is globally the largest group of only active air traffic controllers (36 ACCs) and active pilots (43 aircraft operators) working on the harmonization of datalink.

Viktor has a pilot background and he had also worked as an avionics technician on both military and civil airplanes before starting to work in ATC.
