Intersoft Electronics Group establishes Indian footprint

05/06/2026

Intersoft Electronics Group has announced the establishment of Intersoft Electronics India, a subsidiary headquartered in Bengaluru. Set up under the Intersoft Electronics APAC structure, it follows the opening of the group’s Korean branch earlier this year and represents another significant in-country investment in the Asia-Pacific region.

The group has supported Indian civil and military customers for several years — among them the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Indian Air Force and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Where Intersoft Electronics’ products and services have reached India through export and local partners, the group will now deliver them directly — with local employees, engineering and support based in the country. It is a deliberate move from being a supplier to India to a partner in India.

Dominic Nadvillaveetil, General Manager, Intersoft Electronics APAC:

“India is too important a market for Intersoft Electronics to serve from a distance. Our intent is clear: to put our RF test, evaluation and certification capabilities across the entire CNS domain directly into the hands of India’s aviation and defence customers, and to support them on the ground for the long term.”

The trends in India align with the group’s capabilities, with Intersoft Electronics India supporting:

  • A fast-growing civil and defense aviation sector is driving demand for CNS systems, addressed with ICAO, EUROCONTROL, and Military-standard compliant solutions like RASS®, SkyRF® and SMS.
  • Strong defense investment and a large installed radar base create demand for radar test expertise, upgrades and scalable technologies such as ASR-M®, NORA and NGSP®, delivered in partnership with local industry.

Darren Gillam, Managing Director, Intersoft Electronics APAC:

“Our capabilities are highly sought after around the world. Integrating with local industry, our solutions greatly benefit both the civil aviation sector as well as all defense sectors using Radar technology.”
