Laying the Foundation: Minimum Capabilities and Implementation Support for States

When

Wednesday 8 July

13:45-15:00

Session overview

This session will examine the minimum capabilities that all States should implement for a harmonised and interoperable Air Navigation Service (ANS), as inputs to the ICAO Minimum Implementation Path (MIP), and explore the implementation support needed across Asia Pacific. Industry representatives will share how they can support ANSPs in the implementation of minimum capabilities, including whether existing business models need to evolve to make solutions more cost-effective and easily implementable. The discussion will also consider how collaboration between states, ANSPs, and industry can ensure universally accessible, practical, and harmonised systems across the region.
