Meet our speaker

Andrea Sack was appointed Senior Vice President Global Operations at CANSO in June 2026. She brings more than 25 years of experience across the aviation industry, including senior roles at airports, airlines, aircraft operators and air navigation service providers.

Prior to joining CANSO, Andrea served as Director Safety, Security and Quality at Austro Control, where she led multidisciplinary teams and worked closely with national, European and international stakeholders to strengthen safety performance and organisational resilience.

Andrea has also held leading industry roles as Industry Co-Chair of the EUROCONTROL Safety Team and Co-Chair of the CANSO Safety Standing Committee, championing collaboration across organisational, cultural and regional boundaries to advance global aviation safety and operational excellence.
