CANSO Associate Members reflect on a highly successful Latin America and Caribbean Conference 2025

06/11/2025

For CANSO Associate Members, the CANSO Latin America and Caribbean Conference 2025 offered a powerful opportunity to connect directly with decision-makers from across the region’s air navigation service providers.

As well as the three days of workshops and confenrence, through face-to-face conversations, exhibitors gained valuable insight into the operational and strategic challenges their clients are facing, helping them align solutions to real-world needs.

The event also provided a platform to strengthen existing relationships, spark new partnerships, and engage in discussions shaping the future of air traffic management in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Benjamin Binet, VP Navigation and Surveillance, Thales, said: “At the conference we discussed growing traffic in the region, and what was interesting was discussing the specific patterns of traffic and the management of specific events which only appear here. For example, we had an interesting discussion on the impact of space operations. It was a real honour to be here and to meet all the ANSPs from across the region.”

Mark Rodrigues, Vice President, Aviation, Transoft Solutions, added: “As an Associate Member I find it very important to be here, to hear and see what is going on, but also to be close to the industry partners. This event is an intimate one and an opportunity to speak to the leaders of ANSPs and other partners and really helps us to understand what’s going on and how we can have our place in contributing to the growth and development.”

Here, four Associate Member representatives reflect on the value they gained in Panama City.
