Global ATM Awards 2024 – 5 March deadline approaching

There are now just under two weeks left until the deadline for entries of the 2024 Global ATM Awards.

The awards recognise significant achievements by individuals, initiatives, and organisations in the air traffic management industry in 2024 and aim to encourage pioneering concepts.

There are six categories in this year’s awards:

  • Innovation to enable sustainable future skies
  • Building a resilient ATM framework for the future
  • Collaboration and community
  • Pathway to advanced air mobility (AAM) 
  • Unleashing the potential of drones
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)

Entries will be judged by a panel of leading experts from across the industry. They are:

  • CANSO: Simon Hocquard, Director General·
  • ENAV: Vincenzo Smorto, Chief Technology Officer·
  • EUROCONTROL: Tony Licu, Head of Technology division·
  • Eve Air Mobility: Rob Weaver, Urban ATM global business development·
  • Frequentis: Markus Klopf, Director ATM product strategy and international affairs·
  • MicroNav: Greg Pile, Managing Director·
  • Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC)/EUROCONTROL: Peggy Devestel, Director·
  • Unmanned Airspace: Philip Butterworth-Hayes, Editorial Director and publisher·
  • ATM industry expert: Claudia Bacco
