Enrique Maurer, ENAIRE’s CEO, will chair the Network Management Board

On 17 December 2024, the European Commission adopted its Decision 2024/3136 on the composition of the Network Management board. According this decision, ENAIRE‘s CEO, Enrique Maurer, has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Network Management Board for 2025 and 2026. This decision was taken with the unanimous support of the EU Member States.

With the entry into force of the new EU framework Regulation 2024/2803 on 1 December 2024 on the Single European Sky, the Network Management Board was confirmed as the board supervising the activities of the Network manager and will therefore have an important role to play in implementing the network functions under this new Regulatory Framework.
