The number of flights managed by ENAIRE inOctober was 5.5 per cent higher than in 2023, a record year

ENAIRE, Spain’s air navigation service provider, managed over 216,000 flights (216,012) in October, 5.5 per cent more than in the same month in 2023, a record year.

International flights in October (127,318) were up by 7.3 per cent, overflights (48,612), which do not land at or depart from a Spanish airport, 4.5 per cent, and domestic flights (40,082) 1.3 per cent.

This growth in air traffic in Spain in October exceeded the European average, which was 3.5 per cent, by two percentage points.
