Airspace World picks up second award

Airspace World was named best new event at this year’s International & European Association Awards 2024, its second such title.

Organised by the Association of Association Executives, the awards recognise success and sharing of knowledge across associations, with this year’s awards ceremony being held in Graz, Austria.

The judges of this year’s awards said that Airspace World attracted an “Amazing number of attendees for a first-time event,” and praised the way “CANSO planned their vision around their available resource without shying away from hiring external partners, resulting in a well thought-out and extremely impressive event.”

Deborah Seymour, Communications Director, CANSO said: “Once again Airspace World has been recognised at a great event for the ATM and UTM industry and we are very proud to be recognised by our peers in the Association industry in this way. It is always nice to see the hard work and dedication of the small team which has now managed two successful editions of Airspace World.

“We now look forward to Airspace World 2025 next year in Lisbon, and our brand new event, Airspace Asia Pacific, taking place in Hong Kong, China, in December 2025.”
