ENAIRE, Spain’s air navigation service provider, is contributing to the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) by investing 107 million euros, subsidised with NextGenerationEU Funds, to contribute to the development of the Single European Sky.
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2021/241, ENAIRE has already awarded 100 per cent of the investment, 86 per cent of which has been implemented, with over 73 per cent of the goals being fulfilled.
ENAIRE has already completed eleven projects, and aims to complete a further four this year in order to have at least 20 projects completed by 2026
Specifically, ENAIRE is contributing to the PRTR with the project “Actions to Develop the Single European Sky”, classified within Component 6, “Sustainable, Safe and Connected Mobility”, and the measure “National Transport Network: Trans-European Transport Network – Other Actionsâ, which is under the oversight of the Ministry for Transport and Sustainable Mobility.
