What I’m looking forward to at Airspace World
We’re now just six weeks away from Airspace World and I’m excited to share with you the things I am most looking forward to about THE global Air Traffic Management event in the calendar.
First and foremost, I am excited to open the doors on this brand-new event. Airspace World marks a new era for CANSO – building on our legacy of 16 years of delivering the award-winning World ATM Congress, whilst delivering an enhanced experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
I’m also excited about the speakers and panellists we have already lined up! Kicking off with our Executive Summit on Tuesday 7 March, I’m delighted to be joined by ICAO President, Salvatore Sciacchitano, IATA Director General Willie Walsh, Director of NATO HQ Armaments and Aerospace Capabilities Directorate, Dr Giorgio Cioni, and Shaesta Waiz – founder of Dreams Soar who, in 2017, became the youngest woman to fly solo around the world in a single-engine aircraft
The excellent roster of speakers continues at our exhibition where we’ll bring together key players and thought leaders from across the entire aviation ecosystem for a range of discussions and panels. From meeting our net zero climate goal to opening our skies to all airspace users and the technology and operations that will underpin this, we will continue to move the dial on aviation’s most important issues.
Innovation drives our industry. You only need to look at how much has changed in the past 15 years or so, in regards to ATM technology, to appreciate that. With 170 exhibitors already signed up, visitors will be able to explore the best technology and innovation our industry has to offer.
Over the coming weeks, we will share more of the excellent speakers we have lined up for our exhibition and Summit and showcase some of our exhibitors. Without a doubt, Airspace World is the most prestigious showcase of the technology and services required to Shape our Future Skies. I’m looking forward to being there, and I hope you are to.
