Al-Balad, established in the 7th century, is the historic heart of Jeddah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the “Gate to Makkah,” it traditionally served as the primary port for pilgrims arriving by sea. The district is famous for its narrow alleys and unique Hijazi architecture, characterized by coral stone houses with ornate wooden lattice windows known as Roshan.
Dress Code: Casual (as per the local cultural guidelines) with comfortable shoes
Buses will depart from the Jeddah Hilton at 18:00
