External Security Regulation on ANSPs

Overview:
As cybersecurity regulation continues to evolve, ANSPs increasingly find themselves presented with a wide range of expectations from both local and international standards. Compliance to individual standards is becoming an increasingly difficult overhead to bear and a more coherent approach is increasingly needed.

Session Objectives:
In this session we will:
• Explore the common themes across the wide range of cybersecurity regulations
• Discuss how we can build a comprehensive cybersecurity and cyber-safety management approach that helps respond to wide ranging security requirements at both national and international levels
• Consider how to respond to security requirements which didn’t originally take into account our operational environment
• Talk about how to best frame existing safety management approaches to demonstrate their benefits for cybersecurity
