Organisation overview

Uzaeronavigation, was established in 1991. Its creation marked a new epoch in the development of civil aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and made it possible to pursue a unified, targeted policy for the development and modernisation of the air traffic control (ATC) system throughout the country.

Managing a vast airspace of 479 842 sq. km, the company oversees over 31 086 km of air routes (including area navigation routes) and 58 air corridors with neighboring states. Uzaeronavigation provides air navigation services for the transit use of airspace  to more than 400 airlines and in the areas of airfields of the Republic of Uzbekistan, while providing take-off and landing  to more than 50 airlines.

Key Activities:

• Air traffic management in the airspace of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• CNS/ATM support (Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management);
• Flight information service;
• Air traffic services planning, including UAM;
• Ensuring flight safety in the airspace of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• ARO Service;
• Service on publishing and submitting aeronautical information documents to users;
• Initial training, refresher training, and advanced training for aviation staff.

Development strategy

Development strategy of SUE Center “Uzaeronavigation” until year 2030 was worked out and is being realised.

Expected results:

• Improvement of the quality of provided service;
• Increasing attraction of the air space of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• Enhancing of flight safety through the increasing of navigational accuracy;
• Increasing of the traffic capacity through the alignment of routes;
• Decreasing of toxic emissions in the atmosphere;
• Increasing of transit flow and take-off/landing operations at the aerodromes of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
