Organisation overview

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is the national regulator of civil aviation in the United Arab Emirates and a strategic enabler of the country’s vision to lead the global aviation sector. Positioned at the crossroads of three continents, the UAE manages one of the most dynamic and complex airspaces in the world, serving as a vital hub for global connectivity.

As the federal oversight authority for civil aviation in the UAE, the GCAA is responsible for regulating and supervising a wide range of functions.
