Jotron Ricochet to record Belgian air traffic
Jotron AS, a leading manufacturer of professional communication systems for safety in various industries, has merged efforts with the Belgian ANSP, skeyes, to supply one of the largest nationwide ATC recording systems in Europe.
The Norwegian manufacturer of modern Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems will provide fully redundant recorder systems with the capability to record and synchronously replay over 2000 audio channels. This contract adds to the series of contracts Jotron has previously won, where they have supplied nationwide recording solutions to Norway, Spain, UK, Sweden, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark and Poland.
The contract encompasses installation at six sites throughout Belgium, including the countryâs main airport in the capital Brussels. All sites will possess an independent recording and replay system. Jotron will also supply a centralised replay system at skeyesâ headquarters at CANAC Air Control Center (ACC) in Brussels.
