CANSO ATFM / A-CDM Integration Webinar Series
As global air traffic grows, air traffic flow management (ATFM) and airport collaborative decision making (A-CDM) are key drivers of efficient and effective aviation. Together these procedures help balance demand against capacity and increase operational coordination between all aviation stakeholders, creating a safer, more efficient flow of traffic.
To find out more about how these processes can help your organisation optimise operations and improve performance, CANSO is holding an AFTM/A-CDM Webinar Series for aviation stakeholders across the globe. The webinar series will explore what AFTM and A-CDM are and how they can work together to deliver safe and seamless air transport.
Session 1 – ATFM – 22 January 2020, 15:00 – 16:00 CET
Our ATFM subject matter expert will explore ‘demand-capacity balancing’ and how it enables efficient and effective operations. This session will also explore how ATFM fits into the overall ATM process, drawing on best practice case studies.
Session 2 – A-CDM – 29 January 2020, 15:00 – 16:00 CET
Our A-CDM subject matter expert will examine the concept of A-CDM and how airport stakeholders can share common operational information to achieve more efficient aircraft turnaround processes and better airport infrastructure utilisation.
Session 3 – ATFM/A-CDM Integration – 5 February 2020, 15:00 – 16:00 CET
Our subject matter experts will discuss why and how ATFM and A-CDM can be integrated both at the operational and support system levels. Key topics will include how stakeholders interact with the processes and what data elements should be exchanged.
Key learning points:
- What ATFM and A-CDM are and how they support efficient and effective aviation
- How ATFM and A-CDM can be integrated at the operational and support system level
- Next steps for your organisation to implement high-performance AFTM/A-CDM
