CANSO Academy: Accelerating SWIM Readiness: A Practical Introduction to SWIM
This webinar introduced the CANSO System Wide Information Management (SWIM) Tool Kit: a practical, hands-on guide designed to help ANSPs implement SWIM.
Developed in response to global and regional governing events, the tool kit bridges the gap between high-level standards and real-world implementation. During this session, CANSO experts from the Digital Transformation Workgroup explained the purpose and structure of the kit, demonstrated key use cases, and highlighted how it supports ANSPs at varying stages of SWIM readiness. Attendees gained insights into the technical architecture and practical tools necessary to begin or accelerate their SWIM journey.
Agenda:
- Introductions – Welcome and speaker overview
- Background – Drivers for SWIM and why the kit was developed
- Purpose & Audience – Who the kit is for and how it’s intended to be used
- SWIM Kit Content Overview – Key components, tools, and implementation guidance
