Meet our speaker

Dr. Zhang Zhongfeng, graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a major in Applied Mathematics. He has worked in the aviation meteorological department for over 30 years, acting as the Deputy Director of AMC of ATMB of CAAC since 2008 and the Director of AMC since 2023. He has achieved outstanding achievements in aeronautical meteorological forecasting and technology development, and was appointed as a leading talent in aeronautical meteorology by CAAC, and awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award by World Meteorological Organization in 2018. He has been serving as the ICAO MET Panel member on behalf of China since it established, and serving as an Standing Committee Member of the Chinese Meteorological Society.
