Meet our speaker

Setio Anggoro is Director of Operations at AirNav Indonesia, where he leads operational performance and air navigation service delivery across one of the world’s most complex aviation environments. With almost three decades of experience in air traffic management, he began his career as an Air Traffic Controller before progressing through a series of senior leadership positions in planning, development, and operations.

Prior to his current role, Setio served as Executive Vice President for ANS Planning & Development and Vice President of Air Navigation Service Planning at AirNav Indonesia. He also played a key role in Indonesia’s FIR realignment programme, serving as AirNav’s Team Leader from 2020 to 2024.

A recognised industry leader within the Asia Pacific region, Setio currently chairs the ICAO APAC Project 30/10 Task Force and has been a regular international speaker on Free Route Operations at ICAO APAC events. He previously served as General Secretary of the Indonesia Air Traffic Controllers Association (IATCA).

Setio holds a Master’s Specialised degree in ANS Engineering & Operations from ENAC in Toulouse, France, a Master’s degree in Finance Management from Hasanuddin University, and an Air Traffic Control qualification from the Indonesia Civil Aviation Institute.
