• Maureen Isika is a seasoned Senior Air Traffic Control Officer at the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority with 17 years of experience.
• She holds three ATC ratings (Aerodrome, Approach Procedural and Approach Surveillance Control) and currently serves as the Safety Management Systems Coordinator at JKIA.
• Maureen is the CANSO Focal Point for KCAA and Chairperson of the CANSO Africa Safety Workgroup.
• She made history as the first female President of the Kenya Air Traffic Controllers Association (2020–2021).
• She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration in Aviation Management; she champions aviation safety and operational excellence.
