Meet our speaker

Mr. Wang Jun is from the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), serving as Deputy Director of the Air Traffic Control Division. He boasts over 20 years of professional experience in air traffic control operational standards, procedures and major projects. Holding master’s degrees in Air Traffic Management and Electronic Information & Communication Engineering, he is a Senior Engineer specializing in the design of operational concepts and project engineering within China’s air traffic management system.

Mr. Wang Jun oversaw the implementation of landmark initiatives including the CAAC Centralized Flight Plan Processing Project, the National Air Traffic Flow Management System Project and the Digital Air Traffic Control Programme of civil aviation in China.
Mr. Wang Jun is also a member of the ICAO Air Traffic Management Requirements and Performance Panel (ATMRPP), as well as a committee member of the National Technical Committee for Air Traffic Management Standardization of China (TC602).
