Hillary is a registered Psychologist and a Director of Leading Safety, a consultancy specialising in the leadership of safety and wellbeing, and the design of better work. She developed the Business Leaders Health and Safety Forum’s CEO Guides to mental wellbeing. These sense making frameworks are used, both in Governmental Agencies and private organisations, to assess current wellbeing initiatives and to design better wort through the identification of factors that are harming or protecting wellbeing in any workplace. In 2019 Hillary was awarded the New Zealand SafeGuard Lifelong Contribution to Health and Safety Award.
